Anna Kathleen Currier, born on November 7, 1994, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, ascended into eternal peace on June 11, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas, where she had found joy and purpose in her life. A resident of Andrews, Texas, Anna was a beacon of light in the lives of many and her impact was felt in every community she touched.
Anna graduated from Lane Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, and basic Health Care. Her career in billing was both a testament to her dedication and her desire to make a difference in the healthcare sector.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Anna was driven by a deep love for animals. Her passion for rescuing animals, both small and large, illuminated her compassionate spirit. She cherished creating a “mini” farm where miniature goats, a mini pig, chickens, and ducks thrived under her care. Anna’s home was not just a sanctuary for animals but also a reflection of her nurturing heart and commitment to bringing life back to those in need.
Among her proudest achievements was her dream to own a home and to build a life surrounded by the love of her furry and feathered friends. Through her hard work, dedication, and unwavering spirit, she made that dream a reality, creating a warm and loving environment filled with laughter and joy.
Anna is survived by her beloved husband, Sean Currier, who cherished their life together. She is also survived by her loving family: her mother, Cheri Lane-Toussaint; her stepfather, Carl Lane; her grandmother, Anitia Morford; and her sisters, Anita Gorham, Mandy Roney, Autumn Moseley, and Agnes Lane. Each of these family members carries with them the cherished memories and lessons Anna imparted during her life.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Anna’s legacy endures through the love she shared and the lives she touched. She will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her, a steadfast reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of dreams fulfilled.
