Carlos Trevino Jr.

December 17, 1965 — December 20, 2021

Carlos Treviño Jr., 56, of Andrews Texas passed away on Monday, December 20th, with his family by his side. Carlos was born in Andrews to Carlos Sr. and Leonore Treviño. He was raised with two other siblings being the middle child. He spent his entire life in Andrews where he went to school and then married his wife, Kathy, of 41 years, on Dec. 19, 1980. They went on to have two children a son, Chris, and a daughter Amber. Carlos was full of life taking a lot of risks but enjoying every moment some of his favorite things to do were drag racing street cars, riding his Harley, collecting, and shooting guns, and cooking on the grill with his family and friends. He loved his job as a Salesman and Dirt Construction Foreman first for Tucker Construction & most recently Earthmovers, where he was received as family. He was lucky to have found a career he had so much passion & inherent talent. It wasn’t like work for him it was more like his home away from home. He loved & adored his legacy feeling a sense of pride when thinking of them all. He definitely was most content BBQing on the land with his family and friends recalling the races & rallies they had attended. Carlos is a son, husband, & a father whose presence will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his grandfather; Aldolfo Mireles, & mother Leonore, and his best friend and partner in crime, Steve Henderson. He is survived by his father, Carlos Treviño Sr.; wife Kathy, daughter Amber Treviño, and son Chris Treviño, wife Angie, five grandchildren; Bryce, Jesus, George, Paige, & Kailey Treviño, Brother Raymond and wife, Cynthia and sister Cynthia Gonzales and husband, Ralph.
