She was born on the 8th of November 1939 in St Charles. MO to the late John and Ida (Gentemann) Zerjav. She attended St. Peter Catholic school and graduated from Duchesne High School in 1957. On September 28, 1963 she married William Ray "Bill" Ingraham, who passed away on July 15, 2015. She moved to Shoreline WA after her wedding and started attending St Luke Catholic Church.

Carol was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and faith. She touched the lives of many people and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She always put her family first, ensuring they were loved, supported, and cherished.

She was proud of working at McDonnell Aircraft Corp. on Project Mercury, which put the first Americans into space. She also worked for Generra on hypercolor clothing and retired from Highlands West Dental in an administrative role at the age of 80. She was active with Vacation Bible School and was a lecturer at St Luke for many years.
