Danny Earl Turnbow

Danny Earl Turnbow, 64, of Andrews passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his home in Andrews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 and Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm. Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life on Thursday September 29, 2016, at 2pm at The River of Life Church in Andrews, Texas, with Timothy Chenaut, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of Andrews Corgill Funeral Home. Danny was born on December 14, 1951, in Andrews, Tx, to Clyde and Lois Turnbow. He married Linda Sue Toms on June 4, 1980, in Lovington, Nm. Danny always had a passion for sports. He was a lifelong Red Raider and Dallas Cowboy fan, but his favorite team was always the Andrews Mustangs. He was a founder and the first President of the Youth Football League. He had over 40 years of oilfield experience and he also was a lifelong carpenter. Danny loved his wife and all of his children, but had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Papa" Danny was engaged with spending time and making memories with all of his grandchildren. Danny is survived by his wife, Linda Turnbow, Sons; Justis Turnbow and Wayne Toms, Daughters; Jannette Mason, Angela Mobley and Robin Creel, Brother; Gayland Turnbow and many nieces and nephews. He had 12 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Turnbow, and two brothers; Jerry Turnbow, and Paul Turnbow.
