Darlene Faye Drennan

Darlene Faye Drennan, 77, passed away in her home on Saturday, June 7,2014. She was surrounded by her family and a few close friends and very peacefully went home when the Lord called her name. Darlene was born in Lamesa, TX to Revis Chester Harris and Ollie Faye Nichols on May 6, 1937. She married the love of her life Henry Claude Drennan on October 26th, 1954. Henry and Darlene were both raised in Andrews and chose to raise their family here as well. Darlene was a beauty operator and owned and operated the Salon of Beauty with her mother for several years. She cooked for the First Baptist Church daycare and later worked at Pure Flow. More importantly she was an exceptional homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Edward Harris, one daughter Darla Lynn Melton, one grandson James Edward Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry, daughter Lenita Richards and son Ronald Drennan, both of Andrews, 2 granddaughters Kami Donahue of Denton and Cassie Alexander and husband Josh, also of Andrews. 14 great grandchildren, one brother Harry Harris of Andrews along with many nieces and nephews. Brother James Beard officiated.
