In Loving Memory of Dennis Ray Hall
Dennis Ray Hall, age 84, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Big Spring, Texas. He was born on March 5, 1942, in Midland, Texas, to Ernest and Georgia Helen Hall.
Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years as a radio operator aboard the USS Prairie. His military service was an important part of his life and remained a meaningful part of his story.
After his years of service, Dennis went on to work in the vending industry. He retired from Commercial Vending in Dallas, Texas, in 2007. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, finding satisfaction in working with his hands and creating things of his own.
On April 5, 1986, Dennis married Donna Diane Hall. Together, they shared many years of life and memories.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Stephens; his granddaughters, Brittany Covarrubias and her husband, Adulfo, and Ashleigh King; and his niece, Diana Cole, and her husband, Jimmy.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Diane Hall; his parents, Ernest and Georgia Helen Hall; and his siblings, David Hall, Rex Hall, Ronnie Hall, Larry Hall, Carolyn Holcomb, and Helen Oldaker.
Dennis was the last surviving child of Ernest and Georgia Helen Hall, marking the close of a generation in the Hall family. His life was shaped by his military service, his work, his interests, and the family connections that remained an important part of his story.
Dennis will be remembered by those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, and the legacy of his life will remain with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
I want to especially thank Priscilla Hale at Andrews Corgill Funeral Home for her love and compassion during this final season of life.
