Ermelinda Villafuerte

Ermelinda Galindo Villafuerte, age 65, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020. She was born May 12, 1955 in Balmorhea, Texas to Domingo and Dominga Galindo. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Esteban Villafuerte, on December 30, 1978. She was a long time resident of Andrews Texas and a member of First Baptist Church. She loved to give school supplies to local schools to help students in need. Her favorite pastime was to crochet blankets for family members. She also loved to spend time with family and friends. Ermelinda had a great love for the Lord and education. She made sure her children knew the Lord. She graduated from Ector High School and continued her education through Kaplan University and Ashford University obtaining multiple degrees. She was preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Dominga Galindo, brother Domingo Galindo Jr., son Domingo Esteban Villafuerte and daughter Esmeralda Vargas. Ermelinda is survived by her husband Esteban Villafuerte, daughter Lisa Williams (Keith) of Houston Texas, daughter Toni Wilson ( Kevin) of McAllen Tx, daughter Earlene Moreno from San Antonio Tx , daughter Estella Villafuerte of Andrews, Son Esteban Villafuerte Jr. ( Stephanie) of New York, daughter Kimberly Villafuerte of Andrews. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Emma Ridge, Mary Llanez, Cynthia Lopez , Corina DeLaCruz, Carolina Lopez all from Andrews Texas.
