Isaah was born to Marvin Lopez and Geneva Torres on July 20, 1998. He was their firstborn. As a child he was full of energy and always had to be doing something. His curiosity had a hint of mischievousness to it which would be replaced as the protective older brother once his remaining siblings joined his world. Isaah set a standard for the rest of his brothers and sisters that still today, no one has surpassed. He never was boastful or prideful just an anchor to those that looked up to him.
Isaah graduated from Andrews High School in 2016. He loved spending time with his family no matter the occasion. BBQ’s, playing cornhole, listening to music, dancing, fishing, painting, and his favorite, watching the New Orleans Saints beat the Dallas Cowboys. There’s a little sweetness to a victory when your team beats your own fathers’ as everyone knows a child rarely wins against Dad even when they do!
He was a man of courage, strength, and love.
Isaah brought so much joy to others. You rarely saw him without a smile on his face whether it be just because he was happy to see you or because he was acting goofy and couldn’t help himself. Either way, when Isaah was around, the air was light. He will always be remembered for taking inventory of your refrigerator or pantry, his aloofness of life, or his not-so-graceful moments of clumsiness. But mostly he will be remembered for how much he loved his family, and no matter what he was doing if he saw someone needed help he was there to lend a hand. He had a great respect for people and was a very giving person. He would always give whatever he could to others to see the joy it brought to their face.
He leaves behind a large family that may never feel complete without him; his parents Marvin Lopez (Andrews) & Geneva Torres (Ft. Worth) Grandparents Louis & Jove Lopez (Andrews), Gilbert & Blanca Acosta (Odessa), siblings Stefani Quiroz & husband (San Antonio) Jeramiah Lopez (Longview) Brianna Lopez & husband (Odessa) Xavier Lopez & wife (Andrews) Isaiah Morales (Andrews) Elijah Lopez (Denver City) Arabella, Jason, & Kai Lopez (Andrews)
Aunts & Uncles: Joe Baeza (Crystal) (Denver City), Audra Rivera (Mike) & children (Midland), Nikki Torres (Robert), Ray Regulado (Lorena), Desire Ontiveros (Mario) all of Odessa. Plus many more family and friends.
This world is so small in comparison to the void he left behind.
