Lonnie Malcolm Johnson

Lonnie Malcolm Johnson was born in Midland, Texas on February 2, 1956.  Lonnie was a building contractor and he owned ABC Construction.  He was a graduate of Lee High School, Midland College and graduated with honors at UTPB with a bachelors degree in Political Science.  He married Tonya Sutton on August 20, 1994.  Lonnie's passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 67. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents Darnell and Marjorie Johnson and his daughter Star Johnson.  He is survived by his wife Tonya, Son Lonnie Johnson Jr., daughter Emerald McGinnis and husband Chris, son Saxon Johnson and wife Drea and stepdaughter Krista Bingham.   He leaves behind cherished grandchildren - Alec, Zandra, Brynlee, Saxon Jr., Jaycee and Abie.  Services will be held Thursday September 14, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:30 at Junior League of Midland, 902 W. Dengar Ave. Midland, TX 79705.
