Maria Dolores Garcia, born on March 28, 1947, in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico, peacefully departed this life on September 16, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. Her journey through life was marked by boundless love, unwavering strength, and an indomitable spirit that endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As a devoted housewife, Maria’s life revolved around her home and her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit was reflected in everything she did, from the aroma of her delicious meals wafting through the air to her warm laughter echoing in the hearts of family gatherings. Maria possessed a passion for cooking, dancing, and playing cards, activities that brought her immense joy and served as cherished moments shared with those she loved.
Maria is survived by her three daughters, Telma Santibanez and husband Juan, Aide Castillo and husband Jose, and Imelda Garcia, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. Maria is also remembered fondly by her sisters, Olga Perez, Rosaelia Cisneros, Romelia Zamarripa, and her brother Armando Juarez. As a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, along with one great-great-grandchild, each holding a piece of her heart.
She joins her dearly departed family members, including her parents, Juaquin Juarez and Ernestina Lopez, as well as her sons, Felipe de Jesus Garcia and Jaime Garcia, and her daughter, Hortencia Garcia. While they are gone from this world, their spirits intertwine with Maria's, creating an everlasting bond of love that transcends time and borders.
Maria Dolores Garcia will be remembered for her infectious spirit, unwavering love, and the countless memories she created with her family. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, reminding them of the importance of family, love, and togetherness.
