Maria Patrocino Peralta, a treasured soul born on September 12, 1925, in Guadalupe Zacatecas, Mexico, departed this world on February 21, 2026, in Odessa, Texas. She lived a life brimming with love, creativity, and a steadfast dedication to her family and passions.
In a lifetime that spanned nearly a century, Maria became known not just for her warm smile, but for the countless blankets she lovingly sewed, each stitched piece reflecting her compassionate spirit. Her green thumb brought life into her home, as she cherished a variety of plants which she nurtured with care. It was in these small acts of kindness that her loved ones found warmth and comfort, knowing each gift was imbued with her generous soul.
Maria is survived by her adoring children: Fernando Peralta, Javier Peralta, Victor Peralta, Maria Del Rosario Peralta, Maria Elena Martinez, Martha Fuentes, and Mariana Peralta. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, strength, and perseverance, inspired by the tender memories they share of their remarkable mother.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Salvador Peralta, who left a profound impact on her life, and her cherished sons: Ruben Peralta, Salvador Peralta Jr., and Pedro Peralta. Their absence is felt deeply, yet their spirits live on in the hearts of all who knew Maria.
Maria's funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Texas, on February 26, 2026. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her extraordinary life, which will forever remain a source of inspiration and love.
As we remember Maria Patrocino Peralta, we hold close the lessons she instilled in us—a reminder of what it means to nurture, love, and create beauty in the world around us. Her spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
