Retha Jean Luttrull

Retha Jean Luttrull was a God fearing woman, a widow, a mother, a grandmother, a sister and friend.  She was a mother to all.  She left this world after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on June 11, 2024 at the age of 79.  She was born to Jessie Ward on January 22, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was raised by Jessie and D. D. Norvell.  She attended Andrews High School.  She met Rodger Dale Luttrull and they were head over heals for one another after knowing each other a week.  They were married on October 23, 1962 in Hobbs, New Mexico.  Together they had 6 sons and 1 daughter: Rodger Jr, Lonnie, Larry, Cecil, Danny, Ricky and Loretta.  She is survived by her sister and brother, Belinda Norvell & Dewayne Norvell as well as her children Larry, Cecil, Ricky, Loretta and too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to count.  Retha enjoyed spending her time outdoors and in her garden, seeing different areas of the world, collecting bells from the places she traveled or the places her love one's traveled.  She had a passion for reading.  She loved filling her home with joy and laughter from her grand-babies.  She adored music, especially Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty.
