Robin Snell

Robin Snell, of Hobbs, New Mexico, completed his journey and was called home on April 1,2026 In Lubbock, Texas. His journey began May 15, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Robin was a devoted Dad and Grandpa, the kind of man whose actions spoke of love for all of them. Robin had a big heart that extended beyond immediate family. His daughter’s friends were considered extra kids, and their children were included as being his grandkids as well, with them all calling him Grandpa. Robin embraced each of them with the same warmth, care and support he gave his own family.

He had a significant supportive presence in his family and their daily lives. Whether it was helping with running errands, going to the store, taking his granddaughter Abi to school and wrestling events and helping with his bonus grandkids. He always made an effort to be present in everyone's lives regardless how much physical pain he was in. His love for his family was constant, dependable and deeply felt.

Robin is now free from pain and is now at peace, reunited on the other side with the love of life Peggy June Snell (Livesay) and sons Daniel Wayne Snell and Health Roy Snell. As well as his parents, Jim Snell and Jan Snell (Baker), and his grandparents. While his space cannot be filled, there is comfort in knowing that he is surrounded by those he loved and missed. The family now has another guardian angel to watch over them from the Heavens.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Snell and granddaughter Abigale Snell of Hobbs NM. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses; Billy and Kathy Snell of Cisco TX, Nikki and Bart Larson of Altus OK and Kim Burt of Odessa TX. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Robin will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the stories he told, the love he gave, and ways he showed up for his family everyday.
