Joe, a beloved husband, father & grandfather formerly of Seagoville, was born Aug. 26, 1948 in Corsicana,TX to Guy Pierce & Anita Rust Pierce. Joe loved his family and was very much loved in return. He enjoyed riding Harleys with Janie and all of their friends. He was also a POW in Viet-Nam. Joe passed away May 6, 2002 in San Angelo, TX. Survived by wife Janie, daughter April, son-in-law Jon, granddaughter Macee, brothers Glen, Ronnie, Harlan, Wayne & David, sisters Bette, Helen & Faye, sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Judy & Jimmy Whitehead, nieces and nephews Jessica, Ricky, Nathan & Ryan Rogers, Jennifer, Chris, Nowell & Cody Floyd and Lance Robinson & mother-in-law Merle Furtick as well as numerous nieces nephews and friends. Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas,TX.
