SanJuana Chavez

February 1, 1959 — October 12, 2020

San Juana Chavez blessed this world on February 1, 1961. She was born in Aguacalientes, Mexico to Guadalupe & Dominga Guzman. At the age of 15, inspired with optimism and a desire to explore the unknown, she joined Ramon in Fort Worth, Texas where they would soon begin their 45 year union and start a family that became her entire world.  She was the most loving mother & wife anyone could ask for. It never failed, if you needed anything, she was there. No questions asked. The only thing she wanted in return was to be loved also. Telling her “I love you” doesn’t seem to give the understanding of how much she was loved & adored by her family. In this life, she was the richest she could ever become & she didn’t have to pay a single cent for her souls’ desire. Aside from doting upon her treasured family, she enjoyed watching the Cowboys play ball, or maybe it was the family gathering she loved so much. Either way, she was a Dallas Cowboys’ fan if for no other reason than bringing her family together. She enjoyed knitting & crochet, music of any genre, but especially country western & Tejano music. After a longing desire to have her own grandchildren, her wishes were granted. She was blessed once again with 3 grandchildren she would love as her own children, & it could be argued that she may have favored them a little more. Regardless the opinions, one thing that was for certain, you always knew you had a unique place in her heart that was only for you, without comparison. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe & Dominga Guzman, 2 brothers; Ignacio Guzman & Beto Guzman. She is survived by her husband Ramon Chavez; 3 sons, Ramon Chavez Jr. & Mandy Hernandez, Miguel Chavez & Jessica Lopez, & Ignacio Chavez; 3 grandchildren Isabel, Ignacio Jr., & Tomas Chavez; sister Juana Cobos and several nieces, nephews, & friends. San Juana is one gift that will be eternally missed and forever loved.
